A simple widget that makes it a breeze to add images to your sidebars.
Great plugin! Very easy to use, and custom template for displaying widget is great feature.
Not much to say: it does exactly what it says it does. Great widget. Very easy to use.
Great work, clean code, and it's easy to modify the output template. I wanted to make exactly this, but discovered that someone already did. My day just got that much better :)
Great plugin! Easy to use and integrates well with WordPress. Better than the Jetpack image widget too. Thanks for making this plugin!
I keeped Jetpack for widget "image". So, now I use Simple Image Widget, is easy to use, light wight and work well. Thanks!
I'm not a web person. And since I'm low budget, I'm doing it myself and figuring it out as I go. That means when I have a problem....something doesn't perform as it should, it's 50/50 on whether or not I'll figure it out.
I have Jet Pack and I wanted an to use an image to link to my Mail Chimp sign up page. Jet Packs image widget leaves the image BIG, and resizing it didn't resolve it. It just made the image fuzzy. Plus the text was gray and hard to read.
No one responded to my question so I found another one - this one. Lots of downloads, recently updated, tested with my version of WP.
1.2.3 presto! Done! THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS (besides it's EASY) is that it gives you the option of what size you want the image: big, medium, or thumbnail.
I absolutely love the template loader solution. If every widget plugin had something like that, there would be no war in this world. Probably.
There are other image widgets out there, but this is easily the best, most flexible one ever created. If you're looking to add images to your sidebar areas, you won't find a better option.
Does exactly what it says and not a bit more. Easy to use. No extra features I don't need.
Adding a permanent callout in the sidebar? This is the plugin.
Want to add a "Donate Now" button? This will do it easy.
Well done, I say.
When I put few together, it showed me one of them duplicated.
