Any news on this issue? I’m experiencing similar issues with my shared server and WooCommerce 3.3.1… I tried to update to WooCommerce 3.3.3 but that messed every single product picture on my site and had to go back to 3.3.1 again. Not sure about 3.3.2, as I went from 3.3.1 to 3.3.3 and back, but will try if this solves the high CPU usage issue.

I had the same issue after upgrading from 3.3.1 to 3.3.3. Images were fine on the products listing but on product details the images were a mess.
I tried to change image sizes on woocommerce, changing products pictures and regenerate thumbnails, but it was only a waste of time and server resources.
Finally I “solved” the issue downgrading from 3.3.3 to 3.3.1 again.
I don’t know if 3.3.2 is working because I updated directly from 3.3.1 and did not want to waste more time trying another version.
