In reply to: Trouble adding image above the headerWhat do you mean by touch the header and menu? You want the sidebar widget area moved up? Or want a widget area under the menubar?
PS: You should start a new thread and link it so others that are looking for the same answer might find it.

In reply to: Trouble adding image above the headerSure, It’s added to a child theme I made http://zeaks.org/themes-2/simpleten/
Check the header for wrapperimage and the size just above the wrapper ID, the footer has the bottom image and closing div and the css is in the stylesheet.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Twenty Ten Theme Extremely GlitchyWere you using any sort of caching plugins? I had an issue similar to this and that was the problem. Some cacheing plugins leave html copies of your pages on the server even after they are turned off.

In reply to: Jetpack Gravatar Hovercards: Self HostingThey started working on mine, I’m not exactly sure why though. I did uninstall a Twitter widget (not the jetpack one) but I can’t think of anything else I did, or how that would keep hovercards from working.
It wasn’t just the Jetpack hovercards either, I did install just the regular Hovercard plugin, and even tried Ottos code which adds it to the functions.php and neither would work.
I can only suggest disabling addons and see if it starts to work.
Not sure why, but they started working. I think maybe a Twitter widget I had turned off recently might of been causing a conflict.

In reply to: Jetpack Gravatar Hovercards: Self HostingSame with me, the hovercards work in the admin, but not anywhere else.
It still works. I had to re-enable my meta widget, which is now just called meta in the widgets section.
Thanks for the info, ie is so annoying >.<
