Just a note that this issue has not been resolved, however I’ve marked it as resolved because I’d like to stop the notifications from WordPress about other issues that I’ve not subscribed to. I can’t find any other way of stopping the notifications. If anyone does encounter this issue and has a solution, please contact me to advise.
