Thank you. It turns out that another plugin was removing the option completely, but it’s all good now.

In reply to: Can’t see comment box in IEThis gets stranger. If I go to my blog via http://www.zachwaldman.com/wordpress I can’t see the comment box but if I go to my blog through the link generated by my twitter plugin which is http://bit.ly/h1fuC I CAN see the comments box.
Can anybody help solve this mystery?
