In reply to: [Recipe Card] Font not changingIt looks like the font is coming from your theme. If you check the styles for your theme you should see something like this:
li {
font-family: “Shadows Into Light Two”, arial, sans-serif;
}If you remove that, everything should be fixed. The only thing to be aware of is that your lists elsewhere on your blog won’t have that font anymore.

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Font not changingHi –
Are you referring to the font that the ingredients and instructions are written in? What font are you expecting to see?
When I looked at it, I saw the font “Shadows Into Light Two”.

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Recipes aren't showing up in e-mails sent to subscribersHi Shanti –
The code that you’re seeing is called a shortcode. Shortcodes are how Recipe Card and many other plugins render content. My best suggestion for you would be to find an email tool that renders shortcodes before sending the emails, or that would allow you to replace our shortcodes with text saying something like “visit my blog for the recipe”. Short of rewriting how the entire plugin works, there’s not much we can do on our end. Sorry to not be of more help.

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Review Ratings Microdata not to Google SpecThanks, George! We actually just discovered this ourselves. We’ll be fixing it in our next release. We should have just waited a day, and then you could have saved us a bunch of research 🙂

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Recipe Card as a separate page?Hi Jakeeck –
That’s a great idea, but unfortunately we don’t support that today. I’ll add it to our feature request list.
Thanks for the feedback!

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Bug in language fileHi JG –
I responded to your questions via email, but for others who might find this post here are the answers repeated:
Thanks for the heads up about the “adapted from” bug. I’ve added it to our bug list. I’d recommend not using that field until it is fixed.
Nutrition is only supported in English, and unfortunately, supporting Spanish is much more complicated than simple translation, so we aren’t able to support additional languages at the present time.
Since the Margarita recipe was written in Spanish, the nutrition calculated will be off by a lot since it won’t recognize most of the ingredients.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Sidebar displayWe didn’t intend for Recipe Card to be used that way, so I’m not sure how it would turn out.
After you create a recipe in a post, you can switch to the text view and copy the shortcode that was created. You can then try pasting that shortcode into your sidebar. No guarantees that it will work, but you can give it a try 🙂
Let us know how it turns out.

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Recipe image not appearing in google rich snippet search testHi Ronnie –
If you scroll down on the testing tool page, you’ll see a section called hrecipe. In that section, you’ll see that Google did recognize the photo, but is choosing not to display it. From what I can tell, this is because Google will only display so much information in the preview. Since your blog is also set up to show your picture as the author and the reviews, it is prioritizing those things over the recipe image.

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Not working in ChromeHi –
Sorry you’re having some trouble. The plugin typically displays fine on Chrome (and all other browsers), so it must be something about your particular configuration. Can you send me a link to your blog?
Thanks!
