In reply to: Plenty of new js-files for a page load, slowing down site@jaycbrf: thanks for checking. It is mainly a pagespeed-insight issue. My slowest page is
https://yourdailygerman.com/meaning-of-doch/
and my mobile score on PSI is abysmal. It used to be 29, in November I got it up to 40 and with all the new js-stuff it dropped to 6 (from 100). I get most of my traffic from Google, so this is quite relevant to me.
I’ve now installed a plugin that defers most of this js to the footer. And I’ve also come to the conclusion that it’s probably related to the WP 5.0 install.
Can anyone confirm that?

@jeremy herve: perfect! Thank you. Now the question seems rather stupid in retrospect. But I didn’t even pay attention to the others. I only looked at “like button”. Duh. Thanks again.
@jeremy Herve: I disconnected and then set it up again as you said but still no sign of the like feature. Is it possibly related to the site being in staging?
And while we’re at it… when I import my blog from WordPress.com, will the likes I already have be transferred or will they be lost?
Thanks a lot.Forum: Fixing WordPress
