all the requirements for install based on the info at: wordpress.org/about/requirements are there. i went in and looked at the mysql database, and the database gets built – so i know that much.
i tried to get my email pass sent to me, and get the no user in db response.
i know our host is through expedient.net.
i have a similar problem, i get past the first step and then:

and thats it, its stuck forever. no buttons, no this, no that, just chillin…

i have had a mysql db and php working on this confing for sometime without problems.
also, i am one of the 1% that had to change the localhost setting to connect but i still cant get past step number 2…
