    Hi,

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the inconvenience.

You’re right. When the YOOAdmin front-end toolbar is enabled, it replaces the default WordPress admin bar, and the Customize link wasn’t carried over.

We’ve fixed this in YOOAdmin 1.6.4, which we’re planning to release today. The YOOAdmin toolbar now includes a Customize button that opens the Customizer for the page you’re currently viewing, just like the default admin bar. On block themes, an Edit Site button opens the Site Editor instead. The button only appears for users who have permission to customize the site.

Once the update is out, please update to 1.6.4 and let us know if anything still doesn’t look right.

    Best regards,
    YOOPixel Team

    Hi richardlampitt,

Plugin styles affecting the editor canvas

Our styles were reaching into .editor-styles-wrapper and overriding the theme.
    In the next release:

Light mode: YOOAdmin no longer applies any styles inside the editor canvas, so the theme’s editor styles take full precedence and the content looks exactly as it does on the front end.
Dark mode: we only darken the canvas background and text for comfortable writing. Theme colors such as links, buttons and block colors are left untouched.
Exact theme preview: switching dark mode off from the toggle in the editor header shows the theme’s real styles instantly.
Thanks again for helping us improve YOOAdmin. We’ll let you know as soon as the update is live.

    Best regards,

    Hi @richardlampitt,

Thank you for the detailed report and the clear reproduction steps. They made this very easy to track down.

You were right: YOOAdmin’s Focus Mode was forcing the block editor into a full-screen layout and ignoring the Gutenberg preference. With full-screen mode off, that left no way to navigate away.

We had already been planning a new release, and this fix will be included in it. Here’s what changes:

The full-screen toggle is respected. Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F and the “Fullscreen mode” option in the editor’s options menu work as expected, and the editor opens in whichever mode you last chose.
Admin navigation is available when full-screen is off. The editor sits inside the admin interface, with the header and sidebar menu visible, so you can move to any other admin screen.
Full-screen mode is unchanged. With full-screen on, the editor stays distraction-free, with Gutenberg’s own back button.
One note: while Focus Mode is enabled, the navigation shown is YOOAdmin’s header and sidebar, not the default WordPress admin bar and menu, because Focus Mode replaces the WordPress admin chrome. If you’d prefer the native WordPress bar and menu, disabling Focus Mode restores them.

Thanks again for helping us improve YOOAdmin. We’ll let you know as soon as the update is live.

    Best regards,

Thank you for the clear feedback.

Regarding disabling AJAX loading on the posts overview and controlling the number of items shown on the initial load, both options are planned for the upcoming YOOAdmin update and will be available under the YOOAdmin settings.

Once the update is released, you’ll have straightforward controls for both options.

Thanks again for the suggestion, and please feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see improved.
