    I gave ‘confirmation’ on all three points as requested almost SIX days ago in the post copied below. Please reply. Thank you.

    ` Sure.

    > I’m re-enabling cloudflare because disabling it is NOT AN OPTION. Logically?

    Yes, obviously. And everything does work properly with any caching solution out there.

    > As said, I just ‘re’ activated cloudflare. The theme SHOULD work fine with it

    Yes, and it does.

    But, after taking a closer look on your site, it looks like you are missing a crucial piece that is needed for displaying Blocksy’s popups — the .ct-drawer-canvas container.

    Your site: https://cln.sh/JGGF92
    A site where everything is normal: https://cln.sh/MU1BX0

    This signals that something among this happens on your site:

    1. You’ve edited main theme files and now the drawer canvas container is not in the output of the footer
    2. You have a child theme that overrides theme files, causing the same issue as with #1
    3. You have some plugins that try to intercept theme’s header/footer templates and make changes to them. From our past experiences, there is quite a big number of them that usually do this.

    To find a solution to your problem, we will need a confirmation on all 3 points above from you. For #3 we need a full list of your active plugins. And please, let us know if you made significant changes from a child theme (or in the parent theme).

    Waiting for more feedback from you so that we can get this situation fixed for you.

    All the best.

    Is someone still looking at this?? Can’t bump but would like to know. It’s been nearly four days and the site remains crippled. I cannot solve this myself by any means.

    Read my previous post mate. It is likely your browser.

    I have many ppl complaining that the menu doesn’t work, so definitely, others are having the same issue on their cell phone.

    It’s something in the backend for sure.

    yeah so I reactivated the plugins, the site can’t function properly without it. The banner is mandatory per EU regulations. I already tested SEVERAL times with all plugins deactivated, doesn’t do squat.

    Hi,

    I already tried that last night: also with the main parent theme active, the issue remains.

    Ok, so now I feel fairly ashamed, because it was my browser. After updating, which I hadn’t done for a while, the edit page shows.

    But now the browser settings are all messed up.

    Oh how wonderful all this technology is, and how ‘beneficial’ it will be for us all in the long run…. #sarcasm

    In any case: thank you for your assistance.

    On to the next waste of time 😉

    Meanwhile I enabled the debugging by adding this to the wp-config file :

    // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

    // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

    // Disable display of errors and warnings
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
    @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

    // Use dev versions of core JS and CSS files (only needed if you are modifying these core files)
    define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );

    ….but after several times loading the edit page (still blank) I can still not see a log file saved in the appointed directory.

    Until I receive clear instructions, I am gonna leave the htaccess file alone…

    thank you!

    Hi,

    ok, so not weird 🙂

    I’m not that savy, so pls kindly tell me exactly what to do with the htaccess file? I know I can edit it via the cpanel file manager, and that there’s a bunch of code in there that I likely need in there…

    So do I just replace it wholly with the default code? Do I need a backup of the old htaccess file?

    then, ‘resave permalinks’: you mean just re-set them in WP settings, or re-add some code in the htaccess file?

    Pls, act as if talking to an id**t 🙂 thank you kindly.

    Hi,

    thanks for re-checking.

    I have no idea what that ct-drawer canvas is…is it something I need to add myself?

    1) have not by my knowledge changed any main theme files, I usually leave things as is if they work.

    2) I do use a child theme, which would override changes to the main theme because I keep plugins and wordpress up to date.

    3) I currently have ‘ALL’ plugins disabled, and the issue persists…

    My plugin list, but as you can see they are all deactivated: https://i.imgur.com/c9Nl7Bl.png

    Lastly, the only things I ever change on the child theme is updating it. I use the child theme so that the parent theme always stays the same. ALWAYS 😉

    I hope you can fix this for me.

    I just DEACTIVATED cloudflare and pagespeed ninja completely, then tested and the issue REMAINS!

    The OFF-CANVAS stuff does not work. All the rest works as should. I really doubt caching or minifying is causing this, seeing that deactivating it all changes nothing.

    As said, I just ‘re’ activated cloudflare. The theme SHOULD work fine with it. Same for pagespeed. Used to work perfect.

    I’m re-enabling cloudflare because disabling it is NOT AN OPTION. Logically?

    Pls re-check, cause disabling minifying and cloudflare do not solve anything.

    Thread Starter yhsh

    (@yhsh)

    I have now disabled all cache and security of cloudflare, and disabled all minifying from pagespeed ninja. Now my site is basically running a lot worse than it should, AND the issue STILL persists, so I really doubt caching and miniying is the issue here. The mobile header for menu and search do NOT WORK.

    Thread Starter yhsh

    (@yhsh)

    well that really isn’t a solution because i actually NEED the minifying and caching enabled, like anyone else.

    Can’t just disable it and say ‘all is good’. No.

    Blocksy always worked WITH minifying and caching enabled. So it should do the same now too…

    Hi,

    I’ve cleared all cache and disabled all minifying settings, but still no change. Those buttons do nothing on any browser via cell phone.
