I sent a test email via the “Test Email” option. It got to me.
However, via the formiddable forms form which I use on the site, I am listed as the BCC and I am not getting ANY of the emails coming through.Asking them, they of course say, it’s up to the system sending the form messages – that is this plugin as it’s bypassing the host.
I am unsure yet if the client (who is set as the “to” field) is getting them either. Just tested it again – test works fine. But none of the emails in the submissions folder are getting through and they are not in junk.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirection Works, but not on Google Webmaster ToolsThanks for your response. It’s hard to explain further really.
I have specific redirects added to the site within the plugin:
abc.com/xxx to abc.com/yyy for exampleWhen I check within the list and click /xxx/ link, it redirects in the site to /yyy/ and shows it’s working. No problem.
However, Google webmaster tools is listing a bunch of the redirected links as not found. When they list it, and I click on that /xxx/ link within GWT, it doesn’t redirect to /yyy/ as it does when I check within the site.
I assumed with the redirect on, GWT would crawl the site and get to the redirected page and not show it as missing, but apparently it’s not. I find it strange when I click on the initial link within GWT, it literally does not redirect to the new link, as it does within the site’s listing of all the links.
Does that not make sense at all? I am sorry if it doesn’t. 🙂
Thanks for your quick response.
Yes, sadly, that was already done. Less secure apps are allowed. 2 step verification off. Not sure what else to do.
I’m the original poster of this thread. Is there a link to how the gmail set up should work now? Optimal settings? Cause it’s still not working for me.
I am using the correct gmail address and password.
I am using smtp.gmail.com on port 465 SSL
I have checked to allow use of less secure pasword. Please advise, thanks!

SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/TroubleshootingWas this ever resolved? I ran into it YET again. And it looks like many others have the same issue.
Super frustrating.
NO clue why it didn’t work but it may have had to do with the contact form. I swapped that out and just removed the plugin and moved forward. Thanks for the help.
I set it up exactly as it is here:

In reply to: [WP Responsive Menu] Site Is Broken After Latest Update!!Nope, didn’t work.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-responsive-menu/inc/wprmclass.php on line 79I had to delete and reinstall the 3.0.1 – and keep it there. When I update to the 3.0.2 the entire site breaks.
But at least with the 3.0.1, the site works. Can you let me know when there is an update that won’t break the site?

In reply to: [WP Responsive Menu] Site Is Broken After Latest Update!!“New” version says 3.0.1 (I have 3.0.2 in there now). Is that what you are suggesting?
Thanks.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WP Responsive Menu] Mobile Menu Disappeared After Updates?I restarted the plugin 2x and it seems to be working now – will continue to check as this was really weird (first just the desktop was gone then the mobile was gone).

In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Quarantine QuestionThank you! I do have a lot of websites on that particular server, no other issues. So yes, seeing continued new issues means there is probably a vulnerability still there?
Thanks again!!
