I’ve switched on twenty twenty one, paste your snippet in CS and retested it. but it doesn’t work 😥 I was in capacity to register with “brbrbrr” as Username (I left ‘member’, ‘user’, ‘customer’ as allowed usernames in the snippet).
You told me you succeed on your side ?

I’ve tried first with code snippets, and as there was no result, I’ve delete it from CS and added it directly on functions.php.
I will try your snipper on another website !

Unfortunately the code snippet doesn’t work :/ I can register with any ID, not only the allowed ones. Would you have another idea ?
