I had WPML 3.7.1 , so I updated it and it worked.

So, I did what you told me and i got the same result,
i found that the DEBUG.LOG file is written in french because my website’s language is set to French, so if you want to change the language to english, tell me.

I do have to Websties in localhost running from ubuntu installed in VirtualBox
First, I updated the plugin in the 1st website, and then the website just stoped, I searched in google and i found this :
How to Fix the WordPress White Screen of Death
Then I disabled the plugin and the website returned to work just fine.
In the 2nd website, I had the version 4.2.1.1 of this plugin, and I tried to update it, and the same thing happened.
this is all what I did and I hope this will help you.
