In reply to: [WooCommerce] short product description is not visible on the internet.Thought I would suggest somethings, the short product description, product description is theme dependant, so I would check with your theme developer or possibly another plugin which modifies woocommerce such as (Divi) is hiding it. Good Luck! π

In reply to: [WebP Express] Webp images doesn’t served on mobile phonesDid you try clearing the mobile browser cache and trying again? No issues here working on mobile view.
You are not alone, been like this for a week or so. Figured today I would check the support forums to see what is going on. Hopefully whatever the issue is gets resolved or as you said, maybe the project has been dropped.
It has been like this for the last week for me, it starts, gets to 7% or so and just stops. I gave up, hopefully whatever the issue is gets resolved.
Here is some interesting information with users having a similar issue.

In reply to: [WebP Express] Bulk convert only finds theme filesTurn on logging and see what it says, I am guessing there is a permission issue (i.e cannot read the folder wp-uploads? Either way I would see what the logs say.

In reply to: [WebP Express] link image cover not working on load ajaxHey, I am guessing your seeing this issue on cart/mini cart pages, I had the same issue, uncheck “Enable direct redirection to existing converted images?” and the issue went away for me.
Good luck (I am not sure why the developer ignores the support forum).
I am not sure where in my review you came to the conclusion I did not understand something, but thank you for trying to justify yourself.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] google_product_category@dazsmodels I agree, since it already appends itself to the products, updating the field via the settings is simple enough. Hopefully this weekend I will have the time to provide a *fix* for anyone who wants it.
There is other things which is needed in this plugin, using the full_desc instead of the short_desc or at least the option to choose. This has also been disregarded by WC, which is strange as they are aware the full_desc has more weight on serps than the short description and better fits Pinterest Pin engagement.
I have fixed this myself for the time period. it is literally one variable change.
I guess the plugin is free so you get what you get regardless if you have a good idea to benefit everyone. π

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] google_product_category@dazsmodels I requested this feature months ago and was dismissed. When the plugin is installed and activated the “Pinterest” tab is created under products for you to set the google category. This hook into the product attributes can be simply updated to default for all products.
I have been meaning to provide the ability to do this via functions on a custom theme, thank you for the reminder. Similar to you, I had over 1000+ products which I had to update manually.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest Events@rayeason Add to cart, checkout event errors go away when a “user” adds an item to the cart and a successful checkout is completed. You can do this yourself to clear up these errors or wait until a customer does this process.
Once this happens, the event errors will update on pinterest as successful. π
@mattarios2 You are correct. Product Pins are Simply; Your Items for sale in WC Listed on Pinterest as Pins with the price, when they click your pin(s) to purchase, YOU (WC) handles the transaction. π

@cutty3d Some days Pinterest pulls all my products and other days they short them by over 100 not synced. Popular, New Products updates randomly as well, this is why I think it has to do with how the tags work and how they populate the product feed.
As long as they can read the feed, my prices are showing up and I am not getting errors I let them do their thing lol. Good luck with your product launch! π
@cutty3d I see the same in my datafeed, similar to you all digital products, it looks like it is a “Pinterest” thing, how they sort “new, popular, all products” if you go to Catalog and View Product Groups under All Products is the total number correct?
If so, I would not worry about it what it says in the feed, not sure why Pinterest does not pull everything everyday.
I just had this happen on large batch of images OVER and OVER and OVER, just keep trying until it makes it to 100% (refresh or restart the smush). I just left a suggestion to “save the current/last state” instead of having to restart it over and over, regardless of why it freezes, it could be the API, the connection from the server to the API or other issues.
Remember, it is free…π
