    Hello

    is there an easier way to do this maybe in bulk

    as we have nearly 2000 items which will take a lot of time.

    is it possible to take it from other apps we use like google listing and ads or facebook

    or like other plugins where you set the default catagory in the settings then change in the product if its different .

    Hope you are doing well!

    Right now the plugin don’t allow to do that. You can add your vote here on one of the ideas that customers add. there are a couple of options that will suite your request. https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce?category_id=412041

    @dazsmodels I requested this feature months ago and was dismissed. When the plugin is installed and activated the “Pinterest” tab is created under products for you to set the google category. This hook into the product attributes can be simply updated to default for all products.

    I have been meaning to provide the ability to do this via functions on a custom theme, thank you for the reminder. Similar to you, I had over 1000+ products which I had to update manually.

    @xolite if i am honest based on there other plugins this should be something that should have been included from day one as many other plugins that are similar do .

    @dazsmodels I agree, since it already appends itself to the products, updating the field via the settings is simple enough. Hopefully this weekend I will have the time to provide a *fix* for anyone who wants it.

    There is other things which is needed in this plugin, using the full_desc instead of the short_desc or at least the option to choose. This has also been disregarded by WC, which is strange as they are aware the full_desc has more weight on serps than the short description and better fits Pinterest Pin engagement.

    I have fixed this myself for the time period. it is literally one variable change.

    I guess the plugin is free so you get what you get regardless if you have a good idea to benefit everyone. 😊
