    Hi @gomediate,

Thanks for the feedback. The plugin is designed to give users a sandbox to create their own content inside the tab. Some people use it just with text, as you describe, to inform their visitors about something. Others will pair this with one of the many form plugins out there (Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, etc) to collect data for a mailing list or whatever they have in mind. Others still create something from scratch using pure HTML or Shortcode elements like those found in Shortcodes Ultimate.

I don’t want to pigeon hole people into one type of CTA, but rather give them the ability to do what best suits their needs using the tools they prefer. I just give them the tab/sandbox to do it in. I’m sorry if this plugin isn’t for you, but thanks for giving us a try!

Thank you, @mgodigital! Supporting this has been on my todo list and you just sent it to the top. I’ll try to get an update out this weekend, but definitely by Thanksgiving.

    Cheers.

    Hi WDjoe,

Thanks for your feedback. The plugin works by applying a class external to any anchor element that links off site (and isn’t found in the exclusion list). You can try manually adding that to the link you want to use.

I’m happy to put out a fix for this or help you fix it yourself, but I need some more information. Can you provide your website address, and if you have any exclusions, what those exclusions are?

    Thanks again,

Thanks for getting back to me, Geoff! The print styles are there, but Chrome is not displaying them unless you check ‘Background Graphics’ under it’s Advanced Options, which appears to be off by default, and I don’t believe most users will think to check there. I’m not sure it’s a fix that can be done by CSS alone, which is why I wanted to bring this to your attention. If you deem it’s worth investigating further, it may require some rethinking or recoding the markup.

I’m glad you like it, Mark! What kind of searches were you running? Maybe I need to improve the keywords to help others find it too.

    Hi Kiseta,

Thanks for getting in touch and letting me know. I rolled out 1.3.1 almost immediately after introducing 1.3, which fixed the issue you mentioned.

Hopefully you got that upgrade, but if not, please check it out. It should fix it.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you mostly enjoy it, and I will look into solving the problems you laid out here.

The first, regarding auto pop ups, was an intentional decision that I always intended on revisiting after launch. Since you brought it up, I will make it a bigger priority for future development.

The second is a point I haven’t considered. I will definitely make a note of it and reconsider how to set up the close feature on mobile.

Thanks again for using the plugin and for leaving this constructive feedback.

    Hi Shelly,

Thanks for reporting this. Is the tab coming in from the bottom or from the side?

If it’s coming up from the bottom, the patch just released which forces a max height should fix the issue.

If it’s coming in from the side, the vanishing tab is intentional. Instead, there should be an X at the top right to close it.

Let me know if the issue is ongoing and I’ll happily take a look at it.
