In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] IE11 plugin errorGood find, and thanks for reporting this. I’ll put out an update this week with the fix, but in the meantime here’s the solution:
Go to Plugins -> Editor. At the top right, select Casper’s Leave Notice from the dropdown. In the sidebar of plugin files, go to caspers-leave-notice.js. On line 71, you’ll see the following:
var url = (e.target.hasAttribute('href')) ? e.target.getAttribute('href') : e.target.closest('[href]').getAttribute('href');Replace that with
var url = (e.target.hasAttribute('href')) ? e.target.getAttribute('href') : $(this).closest('[href]').attr('href');Thanks again for reporting this issue. Keep an eye out for 1.2.3 coming out shortly.

In reply to: [Casper's Flyin' Call-to-Action] SuggestionsI should have mentioned, there is a way to change ‘Close’ if you haven’t found it yet. I gave this answer in a previous support issue:
To fix it in the meantime, go to Plugins -> Editor. At the top right, select Casper’s Flyin’ Call to Action from the dropdown. In the sidebar of plugin files, go to js -> side-flyin.js.php. On line 17, you’ll see the following:
jQuery('.cpcta-flyin .cpcta-top-bar').text('Close');Replace that with
jQuery('.cpcta-flyin .cpcta-top-bar').text('Schließen');or whatever word you’d like to use. Check your website once you save! Editing these files can be dangerous.
Schließen is the German for close. You can sub it for anything you’d like.

In reply to: [Casper's Flyin' Call-to-Action] SuggestionsThanks for the feedback, Michael. All three things are on my list. Localization and customizing the ‘close’ tab are planned for 1.6, which should be out before the end of the year. I don’t currently have a timeline for the session variable, but it is a great idea.

In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] Countdown with timeAs I suspected, the buttons you mentioned that weren’t working were part of a pre-existing issue. It didn’t like your markup. Apparently, whenever a link had children elements (in your case, a span), the code wouldn’t execute correctly.
I just released another update (1.2.2) which should address this.
All of your issues should be resolved. Thanks for reaching out; and let me know if you notice any other issues, or if you have any further recommendations!

In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] Countdown with time1.2.1 is out, fixing a few issues:
* Unable to save the time-to-auto-redirect option
* Auto-Redirect still happens even if a user cancels or closes the boxI’ll take a look at the broken links you’ve described tomorrow.

In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] Countdown with timeI should be releasing 1.2.1 tonight which will fix the issue where closing the window still allows the redirect to happen. I’ll have to look more closely at why some of your links are failing. They may be unrelated.

In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] Countdown with timeDo you know if those links worked before 1.2?
Other issue is if I hit cancel button on the popup the redirect still occurs when its a target = blank link
That’s definitely an oversight on my part. Expect a 1.2.1 shortly.

In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] Countdown with time@idigmarketing, I just released version 1.2 with the feature you’re looking for. Once you update, you’ll notice a new tab on the settings page: Other Options. Here, you can enable the auto-redirect, and set how long you want to wait before auto-redirecting.
Thanks for using this plugin, and let me know what you think!
Cheers,

In reply to: [Casper's Leave Notice] Countdown with timeThis is a good idea, idigmarketing. It’s not something that’s currently available, but it shouldn’t be too hard to include. I’ll try to have an updated version out by next weekend with this feature.

In reply to: [Casper's Flyin' Call-to-Action] Demo available? Enable/disable per page?Unfortunately this was a major oversight on my end, as it’s not changeable in the settings or otherwise translatable. The next release will have a fix for this.
Hopefully this helps, and I promise I’ll get that to be more internationally friendly in the near future.

In reply to: [Casper's Flyin' Call-to-Action] Demo available? Enable/disable per page?Hi VonJanne, thanks for reaching out.
I don’t currently have a demo site available but that is a good idea. It is, however, very easy to turn on and off without installing/re-installing the plugin. There is an on/off toggle in its setting page, and it is off by default when you install it. That gives you the chance to go in and set your content and styles.
It is possible to say ‘only do this on the homepage.’ I give you a few options, including only on the homepage and only on your posts.

In reply to: Editing a website without changing it’s current live setupHi Kyrstan,
As Pramod mentioned, you can set up a local version for development, but if that proves too daunting, or doesn’t quite suite your needs, you may want to consider reaching out to your hosting provider and see if they can copy your site onto a subdomain (i.e. dev.domain.com).
Some hosts may even have built in migration tools that can do it in a few clicks, and may be the easiest route.
If you do go this route, you may want to lock down the dev domain behind a password. Again, the host may be able to help with this. Otherwise, you can try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/password-protected/
Hope this helped,

In reply to: I want to add a Scrollbar to the GDPR Footer MenuGuten Tag, André
You may be interested in the CSS property
position: sticky. In the CSS you can set the following rules:footer { position: sticky; bottom: 0; } header { position: sticky; top: 0; }I would be very careful with this though, especially on smaller screens. The header and footer may leave very little space for the rest of the text to be read.
Let me know if you need any additional help,
CaseyHi @bashibuzuk,
Thanks for checking out my plugin and thanks for reaching out. Apologies for the delay; I’ve been overseas without a computer.
This feature is currently not supported. I intentionally limited it to the front page to prevent it from annoying your site’s users. As I’m currently not setting cookies (planned for the future), it will pop up every time a user loads a page. That can be frustrating to site users to the point where they will give up and leave your site.
I have taken your suggestion and added it to my list of notes so that I can expand upon this feature. In the meantime, if you really want the pop up to auto-open on every page load, here’s you can do it:
In the plugin files, under /js/, you’ll see bottom-flyin.js.php and side-flying.js.php. In bottom-flyin, on line 14, you’ll see the following line:
<?php if( get_option('cpcta-enable-autopop') && is_front_page() ) { ?>remove
&& is_front_page()so it looks like<?php if( get_option('cpcta-enable-autopop') ) { ?>The same change can be made to side-flyin, but on line 25.
Hope this helps,
Casey James
