I’m not sure if this will answer your question… but I’ll run it up the flagpole.

When you’re posting an item, if you upload a photo image in via the “add media” function in WP, it tells you the dimensions of the photo and gives you an opportunity to provide a scaled down photo that you can click on and see enlarged.

When in the editing mode, WP also allows you to create a caption, alt tag and description.

If you want the dimensions to appear when a visitor or you roll over the photo, then put that data in one of these fields.

if you want to just be able to look at the dimensions as an editor, just click on the photo after you’ve created the post and it will show it.

I’m not sure if that answers your question or if there is something different you’re looking for.

    Thanking you.

Sounds like it inadvertently got activated. See this post to deactivate the login. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-login-pg-1?replies=4 Hope that’s a help.

Given the post in the url below, this is a known issue that WP was hoping to solve in April or soon after. I’m not sure if it was fixed with the latest update or not… Please see the post below and see if this applies to you.

Also, make sure you’re running the latest version of WP. If not, maybe it’s been fixed.

I’m not a programmer/coder, so there’s probably a more precise answer to this.

If I’m understanding this correctly, sounds like all you need to do is go to appearance >> menus and, as you say, exclude that category from the navigation

go into the “menu” structure column >>> select the category you don’t want in the navigation >>> click on the drop down menu >>> select “remove >>> and click “save” Voila… it’s off the menu.

    Thanking you.

Seems like GoDaddy for the Managed WordPress hosting plan, should be giving you some more help.

Alternative approach. Try creating a third account and use as little permissions as needed, like just editing ability, if that works. Or full admin if you need it.

But test a third account out and see if it has the same issues.

If it does, it sounds like it might be a GoDaddy issue.

Here’s a discussion on the same exact question that might be of help. A place to start. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/an-unexpected-error-occurred?replies=24

    A couple questions:

    1. Does this happen daily, weekly, monthly, really randomly?

    2. Are there any other users on your account that have admin rights? Is it possible that someone might be bumping your access right down to subscriber? Another thought, probably more remote, is might you have been hacked.

    3. It sounds like you have admin right, get bumped off, then get them again, etc. To that end, once you have admin rights, I’m assuming you’ve already checked to see if there are any other users / admins. Or are you the sole administrator.

    4. Have you taken basic security setup steps to protect your security. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress

    5. Have you added in a number of plug-ins? And are they plug-ins that have been vetted for being secure and reliable. If not, the plug-ins can create cracks in your security.

Sorry if this seems really basic, but need a starting point for reference.

    Thanks. Hope that’s a help.

I’ll take a run at this, but someone else might have a better approach.

first, I’m assuming you have a theme/template that will allow you to set it up in a three-column or the desired multiple-column format.

Once that is set up, create a category that would apply to that preview page. Example: you might create a “front Page” category or “preview” category.

As you find pages that you’d like to feature on your “preview” page, create a screen shot of that site’s page. I tend to save them in Photoshop into a .jpg format.

Next, I’d create a “new post” on your site. The header might be the featured website’s name. Then click on “add media” >>> upload files >> and upload the .jpg you just made.

Once you’ve added it to your page, click on the image and reduce the size of it for the initial display on that page. That way visitors can see a thumbnail image of the page, click on it, and see an enlarged version of that image. Fill in the fields for alt tags, descriptions, etc.

Then click on the photo in your post and add in the url link, using the buttons in the wysiwyg above.

You can also add a description and a little text as needed.

You’ll want to establish a standard size thumbnail/teaser photo that you want to use on each site preview.

Don’t forget to assign your post to the “category” page you want it to appear on (preview page, front page, etc.). Then either preview what you’ve just created, or update / post it.

Now, repeat this six or nine times and voila, you have the page you want.

Obviously, you’ll need to rotate old posts off into an archive, and add new ones in.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks for the question.

Not sure where you are in the process. I’m not a programmer, but these instructions in the Codex do seem to address the question.

Give it a try and see if that answers inserting the logo into the header image.

    Thanking you.

One you’re logged into the administrator, click on dashboard >>> posts >>> site categories.

Then, just fill in the fields and save it. Voila.

Then you can associate your posts with multiple categories, so they can be displayed simultaneously on different pages that are related to that topic.

For additional help try the codex page on wordpress.org http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Thanks for the question. Hope that’s a help.

It appears this post might answer your question already posted.

    Thanks for the question.

Good news is, I tested the site and all the navigation links are staying in place. Nothing moving.

Unfortunately, you might be experiencing something different when logged in as an administrator.
