On mobile devices hover event is missing, that’s why the first tap is being considered as hover, then the second one as click. If you want to remove double tapping, you should remove image hover effect from your settings. Set “Image hover effect” option to “None”. In the upcoming updates we’ll support such functionality to be able to keep hover effects enabled on desktop, at the same time disabled for mobiles.

In reply to: [Portfolio, Gallery, Product Catalog - Grid KIT Portfolio] Empty tileSeems you have an incorrect item saved in your portfolio. Try to reorder your portfolio projects, save the state, then revert the order back to the previous one and save it again. This should resolve the issue. Invalid items will be removed from your database and the empty space will be gone!
Please do hard reset your settings, this should resolve the issue! Try to disable, reenable GridKit, then navigate to your settings section and hit save button.
You should build a native WordPress page for your custom resume, then enter the respective page link in your team member’s details in GridKit builder. GridKit doesn’t generate custom internal resume page at this moment.

In reply to: [Portfolio, Gallery, Product Catalog - Grid KIT Portfolio] Remove tooltipIf you’re talking about browser’s native tooltips, then this is not removable by custom css or JS. The only option is to remove image titles from your WordPress media gallery. But of course it’s not recommended, rather I’d recommend to use SEO friendly image titles which are being used to improve your website’s SEO.

In reply to: [Portfolio, Gallery, Product Catalog - Grid KIT Portfolio] Loading timeI’d recommend to use low quality images, e.g. you can update “Thumbnail quality” option in your settings. Or you can optimize your images and use them in your gallery. I’m checking your website and it loads fast. The delay could come from loading image resources, actual grid is being rendered right away when server replies.

In reply to: [Portfolio, Gallery, Product Catalog - Grid KIT Portfolio] Video linksGridKit uses WordPress native Media gallery. So, WordPress supports browsing videos from external urls (e.g. insert url to download in Media gallery), then GridKit would embed this video in your gallery. At this moment YouTube and Vimeo are officially supported. If you’re using iFrame, make sure the stream provider supports such embedding functionality.
The video stream websites you’ve used in your website doesn’t support iFrame embedding, that’s the problem. GridKit officially supports YouTube, Vimeo and Native MP4 video embedding. Otherwise you should make sure the video streaming website supports iFrame embedding before using it in iFrames.
We’re going to release an update for this, but before the update will be released, please revert back to the previous version or send us an email to support@wpsofts.com and we’ll provide a patch for this.
Please do hard reset of GridKit settings, this should resolve the issue.

In reply to: [Portfolio, Gallery, Product Catalog - Grid KIT Portfolio] YouTube title@akinfenwa please try to change “Video presentation style” to “Standard”. This will use standard styles for tiles and you’ll be able to showcase item’s title/description in your grid.
We’ve emailed your package and key! Uninstall, then install the package we’ve sent, activate it and navigate to GridKit License screen. Then enter the key we’ve sent you and you’re done!
P.S. If your’e still unable to resolve, please send us an email to support@wpsofts.com as you’re using Premium version. We’ll provide a dedicated support to you.
@harrysem1972 I guess it’s because you’ve not entered SEO metas in your page. Please open the page where the short-code is placed, scroll down to Yoast section and make sure you’ve entered SEO oriented title/description/excerp! You can fill anything to make sure this resolved your issue. Please check this out and let me know if that resolved your issue.
@harrysem1972, do you have any cache/optimization plugin or Yoast installed on your side? If yes, please temporary disable them to check if one of those plugins made this conflict. If the issue doesn’t exist, please send me an email to support@wpsofts.com and our support will guide you to resolve the issue. I see JS exception on your front page and I guess that could be reason for your issue.
Also, please try to clear your mobile browser cache and reload the website!
