In reply to: iv'e been hacked?Sounds like your site was defaced. Did you look on your server to see if all your files are still there and your database too.
If those are still there (or if you have a backup) your site can easily be fixed.

In reply to: Adding a picture link in sidebarOops, the above post did not appear right. Let me try that again.
Add a “text” widget and write the html code to display your image.
Example image without clickable link:
<img src="http://www.mysite.com/images/sample.jpg" alt="" width="125" height="125" />Example image with clickable link:
<a href="http://mysite.com"><img src="http://www.mysite.com/images/sample.jpg" alt="" width="125" height="125" border="0" /></a>For help with understanding widget, see http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Widgets

In reply to: New ideas on making page wider??Or 620 x 465 would just be a little smaller.

In reply to: New ideas on making page wider??Since this is a well-viewed page, you might want to use a full-width page template just for that page. Or you’re going to have to shrink the the width of the side bar about 40px.
Try making the display size for the image smaller on that page to 600 x 450 and see how it looks (not the cam feed itself).

In reply to: Log in TroubleIf you did this change inside your Dashboard and still have the page open (even with the error), try hitting the back button and undo your changes and then click “update file.”
If you closed the page, then re-upload the file without your changes to your server via FTP or File Manager and you should be able to login again.

In reply to: New ideas on making page wider??Hi ronnielees,
You’re cam image is 640px wide, you can either make it smaller, edit your theme’s screen.css file, or use full-page width for that page.
Currently, your sidebar width is 310px (.span-8 line 105)
Content wrap width is 950px (.span-24 line 121)
Plus you have margins and padding to consider. If you’re using Mozilla Firefox, I suggest installing a great add-on called “Firebug.” It loads at the bottom of your browser and you can click to inspect different elements of your web pages and css.

In reply to: WP being constantly hackedMorphim,
Self-hosted WordPress sites, just like ANY website can get hacked into. WordPress takes security seriously, but hackers can download it just like you can and see the files. Same goes for other open-source apps.
You say that you’ve taken precautions, but have you done a security audit to see where you have vulnerabilities?
It’s ultimately your responsibility to secure ANY website you offer, no matter if it’s WordPress or not.
I feel your pain and not trying to sound rude, but have you checked to see HOW your site was hacked into? Could it be your hosting company? Could it be that there’s a nasty file on your server that was placed there before by a hacker? Or a virus on your own computer?
I’d be happy to help you find these answers. Just let me know. Feel free to send me a Skype: WPSecurityLock
Honestly, switching to Drupal or another CMS is not going to make you any more secure if you don’t find the reason how you were hacked.
WordPress by far is the best!
