If all the above are Ok and still getting “Error establishing a database connection”, then contact your hosting provider, bcoz this database (which you created) is not working.. that’s why you are getting this error…

You can enable XML-RPC in wordpress Admin Area, Go to WP-Admin>Settings> Writing, find “Remote Publishing” which is having the option to check “Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols.” by checking this check box you can enable the XML-RPC for your wordpress blog.
