if the problem is happening in one gallery, there is some issue related to that gallery, not the entire plugin.
Some potential reasons are (and not limited to):
-accidentally changing the gallery path
-shortcode nggtags linked to a trashed page.

I guess there might be few other reasons, however I can’t infer the issue in the site just with the image provided.

I’d suggest to recreate the gallery, importing the entire image folder. That could be one workaround.

After reading your extensive note, I can’t imagine how frustrating was your situation. The bright side of the story was you successfully went through the problem and you solve it. Sometimes we have to discard what we have and what we know to start fresh, discovering something new, different and with lucky, a lot better.

I’ve installed thousands plugins. Some of them meet my requirements. Some of them needs few tweaks to get what I’m asking. Some of them simply doesn’t fit , or (worst) fail somehow.

Coincidentally, Nextcellent born as an answer for something I considered just simply frustrating, something as elusive as a CSS who doesn’t want to override (even considering !important is in OUR side).

So I guess I understand your frustation somehow. Sometimes our worst problems are just opportunities.

In a default WP installation, Nextcellent uses three tables: wp_ngg_pictures, wp_ngg_gallery, and wp_ngg_album.
the picture metada is stored on wp_ngg_pictures on the metadata field.

Then if you disable the plugin, everything goes back to normal , right?
