    I am using Nextcellent Gallery for quite a while but still haven’t solved this sorting issue.

    The only gallery I have is neatly tagged and I am using shortcodes and tags to create smaller galleries on my page as needed. But no matter how I sort the images in the admin panel (and clear the cache), the order will not apply to the gallery on the page.

    Let’s say, I have 5 images tagged with the same tag and I use this tag to create a gallery using [ nggtags gallery=tag ], they will always be displayed according to their ascending Image ID.

    Is this a bug? A feature? Or do I miss something? (Yes, I have activated the proper sort options in the gallery settings.)

    This is a bug. However, a pull request with a fix is being evaluated and will probably be included soon.

    Thanks for the prompt reply. I’d love to see this working since it would make the gallery complete (at least for me).

    For example, if I have 5 images tagged with the same tag and I use this tag to create a gallery using [ nggtags gallery=tag ] i.e. post-url?gallerytag=tagname it will always be displayed according to their ascending date or image id, whereas I want it to be sorted with the latest ones to be shown first.

    Is there any solution for that? Pls guid.
