In reply to: website down! Need help ASAPIf you can visit your site address via HTTP, enter a username and password and then find yourself looking at an administration screen, this is essentially all you would do via FTP. An address and some login credentials are all you need.
An FTP client like Filezillla is simply an old fashioned two panel file manager. In one panel is a local directory and in the other a remote one. If you follow the instructions in the link provided by Evan, you’ll end up visiting your site via FTP. Once there, navigate to wp-content/plugins and rename or delete the problematic one.
This may be outside your current comfort zone but it’s really easy and a skill vital to understand if you’re managing any website. Once learned, you will be able to carry out this task in seconds.

In reply to: password reset email never arrivesFirst thing to do is to check your mailer logs, if you are able. It’s probable though that you don’t have control of your mailer so maybe try a more reliable mail system than that provided by your host.
This, and similar plugins can help with that:

In reply to: My page is a Warning and is inaccessibleTrue, but it’s really not too difficult. If you’re managing a web site, having a basic knowledge of FTP is essential in my opinion.

In reply to: Lost picturesYour images are still there, for instance here’s the direct link to one:

The support for the theme is provided here:

You’ll find some support blog posts relating to WordPress 3.9 compatibility, maybe that’s your issue.

In reply to: My page is a Warning and is inaccessibleIf you can do that, you can use FTP. It’s just a way of managing files over a network. So you’re essentially just using a file manager just like you use on your own computer.
Grab hold of FileZilla by reading this page and following the instructions. It’s easy, honestly.

In reply to: My page is a Warning and is inaccessibleIt seems that your Jetpack plugin is causing the issue. Visit your site using FTP or SSH and rename the wp-content/plugins/jetpack plugin to disable it. That should get your site back to where you can log in, and find out what went wrong with Jetpack.
Hmmm. I’ll go investigate.
Did you rebuild the thumbnails afterwards?
I built this plugin a couple of months back:
