In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] I have and error with this pluginHi there
This happens when some hosts are a little strict with their file permissions.
Please go to maps->Settings->advanced tab and select “database” instead of “xml file”. This will resolve your issue.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] I have one issueHi
The london marker is the default marker added to the map. When you add a marker, you need to adjust your map to show your marker by dragging it and zooming in/out, then saving it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] marker imagesHi there
Changing the icon field in the table will unfortunately not do anything.
What you may need to do is manually code this part in. Have a look for a function called “Placemarkers”, this controls the way the markers are loaded on to the map and you’ll be able to manipulate the loading of the icon there 🙂We have made this easily available in the Pro version though if you’re interested. Give me a shout if you need any more help. Check our website for my contact details.
Please then give me a link to your homepage so I can debug further

There is a link (http://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/how-to-generate-a-google-maps-geocoding-api-key/) on that page with detailed instructions on acquiring a geocode api.Does this help?

HI DWyatt
Apologies for the lack of support. I have been hard at work coming up with a solution to remove timthumb from the plugin which I actually released yesterday. This was a critical item on the list, and while focusing doing that, I created a backlog of support. I am focusing on clearing the backlog this weekend.
With regards to your bug with the polygons, I am addressing that issue in the next version as well which should be by Monday.
I apologise for all the hassle. I’ll make sure this gets sorted
