we do not use any cache plugin on these sites. Do you have any other ideas what causes this issue?

thanks for your answer. Just to clarify: we did not and do not use Wordfence and we are using the latest version (4.3.9) of your plugin. I just wanted to give an example how error messages normally look like. The displayed message does not contain any plugin name. That’s why I’m wondering how to solve the issue…
