We use a paid version of Shoplentor, but the popup module itself can also be used with the free version.

From our testing, the issue specifically occurs when your plugin is enabled. In that case, the upsell popup no longer works correctly and prevents the added products from being successfully added to the cart, resulting in a validation error.
When the plugin is disabled, the popup functions as expected and the products can be added to the cart without any issues.
So while it may appear to affect all products, the behavior is directly tied to the plugin being active, particularly when the Advanced Product Field is set globally.

When a product is added to the cart, a popup appears offering upsell product add-ons.
However, when the Advnaced Product Field is present on the product page, the products from the popup cannot be added to the cart. An error message appears in the cart or checkout page.
I’ve also noticed that the issue only appears when the advanced field is set to global and applied to all products. If I add new fields to individual products, everything works just fine.
