Yes, the widget rating range settings cannot be removed (no blank setting), so they override the general settings. Solved.
Might be idea to allow widget rating range to fallback to default settings. That plus # of reviews cannot be deleted from widget settings and so do not fall back to general settings.
Thank you for your extremely quick reply time!

I think I have it. I checked widget settings and there is a “1” in those. It is likely overriding everything. Deleting widget and re-creating.
By the way, I noticed the little eye on the reviews page. If I use it to hide this one review, the main page will update correctly and omit the review.
I’m on desktop right now. Always showing low review on web. Have changed to high to low, then back, and it changed, and still shows low review when set to range=3 to 5.
Preview shows correctly.
Okay, that helped. I think this gets us closer to figuring things out.
What I did was set it to retrieve all reviews, then sort LOW to high. So this should show the low review every time.
- When range is 1 to 5, the low review shows in preview.
2. When range is set to 3 to 5, the low review is removed from preview. However low review shows on actual website. (Cache cleared, and WordPress cache is disabled and deleted as well.)
I will check preview.
I can confirm no shortcode. I am doing all config from the settings.
Yes, but if you keep refreshing, it sometimes bubbles up.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No data after upgradeSorry, found the dt col and sorted on it. The more recent entries are plain formatted IP addresses, and the older ones are some kind of converted format.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No data after upgradeHere is a snippet of both columns.
http://postimg.org/image/dga19xh2z/Down around the 1/3 point in the database, the values in the ip and other_ip cols turn into regularly formatted IP addresses, i.e. 24.1.1.1 (or whatever).

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] No data after upgradeI can do this. I will try to get this done in the next week for you.
This one was a bugger to track down, so it is definitely worth adding something to the package.
Perhaps a memory check. Or a display of system memory next to a maximum value, saying “do not enable this option (Browscap) if there is less than X memory available”.
Step 1. Confirm CLIENT works and SERVER broken.
Changed to CLIENT. Site works.
Changed to SERVER. Blank screen.
Changed to CLIENT. Works again.Step 2. HEURISTIC testing
Changed to HEURISTIC. Still works (all as logged-in user).
Changed to SERVER. Works.
Changed to BROWSCAP. Blank screen.
Changed back to HEURISTIC. Works again.Good call.
This of course needs to fail more gracefully. Blank screens are deadly, as site uptime checkers do not think the site is down.
By randomly enabling and disabling plugins, I believe there is a conflict between WP-Super Cache and Internet Security. However, once the error is triggered and blank screens result, even turning off Super Cache does not fix the issue.
I got the trace running but no clear indication of which plugin is causing the issue. I don’t know what to look for and the log is very large.
I got timeouts with Internet Security enabled for a while. Disabling and re-enabling seems to have solved the issue. Will continue testing.
Since I have no clue how to use this trace, and there appear to be no easily identifiable errors relating to those notices in this log, I guess we’ve tracked this as far as it can go.
Just to advise I upgraded to 5.2.1 today. Reactivated plug-in, and result is a working home page but every other page is blank. Deactivated and no issues any more.
I do not have a lot of time for testing, but will try to check back here periodically and help resolve this issue.
Yes, my WP is 4.4.1.
