We’ve just released 4.0.1 which has significant improvements with regards to the server load requirements when using the plugin. Please update to 4.0.1 and let me know if this fixes your problem?Please also confirm if you have any JS errors on your page?

The chat looks to be returning a chat id correctly so this isn’t the issue. Could you please send me login details to nick@wp-livechat.com and I will be able to see why you can’t answer the chat in the admin section.

Could please go to the plugin editor, and edit the wplc_u.js (Basic Version) or wplc_u_pro.js (Pro version). Find the following two lines
wplc_chat_session_id = response; wplc_check_cookie_id = response;and replace them with the following
wplc_chat_session_id = jQuery.trim(response); wplc_check_cookie_id = jQuery.trim(response);Please let me know if this solved your problem.

On the basic the chat window only appears if you are logged into your admin, otherwise it doesn’t display anything if your logged out.
Also I recommend upgrading your wordpress install to the latest version.

We currently have bug in the languages of the plugin that doesn’t allow the languages to work.
We hope to have this resolved with next update.

Thanks so much for the kind words.
Currently the chat appears on every page if activated. Theres no functionality to select specific pages to show/hide the chat. We will look at adding this functionality in a future update.

Yes when you log out of wordpress the chat box will disappear in this version. You have to be logged in to wordpress to chat.
