    Very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the plugin. Just to clarify a bit, are you seeing this issue in WP-Client LITE, or WP-Client Pro? Which version number of WP-Client were you running when you experienced this issue? Additionally, what version number of WordPress?

    When you say that the shortcodes do not work, do you mean that they are simply not displaying any content in the frontend, or are you possibly receiving any kind of error messages when logged in as a client? This is obviously a core functionality of the plugin, so we would like to get this resolved for you as soon as possible.

    Very sorry to hear that you feel the plugin hasn’t fit your needs up to this point. While we can certainly understand your frustration that the plugin doesn’t have all of the features you or your clients may require, please try to understand that we have in no way been ignoring or “brushing off” your requests. We take every feature request we receive seriously. What features we develop, and when, are based on the popularity of the requests. We receive so many feature requests every day, for various new functions, that it’s simply not possible for us to fulfill all (or even most) of them as they come up.

    As we mentioned to you in one of your support tickets, you are of course welcome to perform any customization you like on your own, and while we don’t officially support or endorse this, we are happy to answer any questions you may have along the way, and help however we can.

    Again, we’re very sorry to hear that you feel you haven’t been able to get your money’s worth out of the plugin yet, but we really hope you will understand that we are doing everything we can to cater to as many of our customers as possible. We are constantly adding new features and functionality, and these news features are almost entirely sourced from customer feature requests. Just because we haven’t added something you requested yet, doesn’t mean it won’t be added ever.

    Hi Lisa, sorry to hear you have been experiencing issues with the plugin, and you have not received the support you require. Could you please confirm for us, how did you contact our Support Team? Going through our support tickets, we can find a ticket from you with some pre-purchase questions, that our Support Team responded to a few days ago. We can’t seem to find any other tickets besides that.

    Hi Bruno,

    Just to clarify, did you test setting up login redirection in the WP-Client–>Settings–>Login/Logout Redirects settings page?

    In our test installations, we are able to setup a custom Portal Page redirect for a client with no issues. Do you possibly have a separate redirect plugin installed?

    Very sorry to hear you were experiencing issues with the plugin. If you navigate to WP-Client–>Help in your admin dashboard, you should find a listing of various documentation, tutorials, videos, start-up guides, and helpful links and information.

    Regarding the adding clients issue, this is not an issue we have seen before, and might be caused by a conflict unique to your particular installation.

    Seems rather harsh review for a plugin that has a very large community of happy users. Sorry to hear that you feel that way.

    Could we ask a few questions to determine where your difficulty came?

    Did you use the Pro Version, or just the Lite?

    What functionality were you trying to achieve?

    Did you contact our Support Team with your issues?

    Did you see the pages of documentation and videos located in the Help menu of the plugin’s navigation.

    Assuming that you did, we can see that it didn’t fit your needs. We’d love to get some feedback on what specifically you were looking for?

    The plugin is very flexible and can be used in so many different ways, it’s difficult to put together a Step 1,2,3 type documentation because people will not always use it in just that way.

    Truly, your constructive feedback is valuable to us.

    We’ve attempted to reach out to @furiousfrog through every channel we have, including email address and through the support tickets that were in our system. Upon review, our Support Team had been actively interacting seeking a solution.

    It’s true that plugin/theme conflicts are a fact of life in WordPress development, but they can almost always be solved with the cooperation of the customer. There are so many new plugins & themes out there that avoiding conflicts with everything would be nearly impossible.

    You can check out the features of WP-Client which is fully capable of restricting content based on a wide range of permissions, etc…

    The Lite Version is very basic and intended to show you what the Pro Version is capable of.

    Yes, understand that it can be frustrating.

    Glad we were able to help,

    WP-Client works great for 99% of installations, but sometimes we see a plugin/theme conflict which can almost always be easily resolved. This is a normal occurrence when developing for WordPress.

    @wordmonkey25 On which page are you seeing this error message? “domain.com/portal/login-page” or “domain.com/wp-login.php” or another, or all?
