Yes exactly the same thing I did suggest you .Do you have any plan to add this function in near future?
I would like to add another suggestion,
When plugin change a post category it should also change the footer for example “This offer is no longer valid after 9:35am on Thursday March 28th, 2013” to
“This offer HAS BEEN EXPIRED AT 9:35am on Thursday March 28th, 2013”
