I have added the exception for the application page, but the issue still happens. Is there something else I’m missing?
The “login user upon successful registration” is enabled. It’s just that once they submit their account registration, the site doesn’t recognize them as logged in unless they refresh the page.
Any other ideas or suggestions?
That is an excellent suggestion! I do have a cache plugin installed: W3 Total Cache. Would I just enter the entire url for the exception. I see a few defaults already listed in the exception list but that are all .php listings.

bdbrown- Thanks for your help, that CSS fixed it. Also, thank you for the tip about the commercial theme, I didn’t realize it was a third party theme. I have been tasked with managing this site after the previous person left, so I’m still learning a lot of things. I really appreciate the assistance!!

I’ve gone to the Customize section, but do not have the Header as an option. (And I apologize, I took a screenshot of the page to circle the image, but I can’t past the screenshot here for some reason.) The list on the left I have in Customize, is

Menus- Here I checked the header menu, but there is not an image listed anywhere

Footer.That’s all I have. There are a few different versions of the banner image in the media section, so I’m not even sure which one it’s using. Can’t find where the image is located for the header menu.
