In reply to: [User Activity Log] Annoying Dashboard widget/box for Solwin newsDisabling the “News From Solwin Infotech” Dashboard Widget under Screen Options is not working on any of our WordPress installations. News From Solwin Infotech is forcing itself onto the Dashboard with no means to remove that SPAM.
Looks like we will be discontinuing use of any Solwin Infotech garbage now.

@sanjaydabhoya, you are missing the point and not listening to a customer (free or pro). The audience you are displaying your advertisements to is not the right audience in this case.
Your response to @emangham and lack of understanding a user’s experience is an example of poor customer service and arrogance. Pushing advertising on users like this, without an option for opting out, is also unethical.
I agree with @emangham, this is annoying for users. They will see it as spamming. You are only embarrassing yourself for not addressing this in an understanding and professional manner.
There should be an option in the settings to globally disable this advertising from the Dashboard.
Good luck retaining free and paid customers with a poor and unprofessional attitude.
