In reply to: Help with options pageHi Bradley,
I would be very interested in reading your article! 🙂
I’m again experiencing the same problem with a different WP install, i don’t know what happened the last time because suddenly it worked as it should work.
Is anyone familiar with this type of problem and knows what i could to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Okay thanks! 🙂
Hi Dave, a little late though…but here is a solution I’ve found:

Cheers!
A friendly bump. 🙂
Hi Dennis, thank you for adding your 2 cents.
I’ve noticed what causes the problem in my situation.
The page:
http://www.mydomain.com/wp-login.php?action=register
Should redirect to:
http://www.mydomain.com/wp-login.php?checkemail=registered…with a message a password has been send.
Unfortunately in my case this redirect doesn’t happen and the WP 404 page comes up, oddly enough though the URL doesn’t change either.
Hopefully with this information the more advances WP users reading this thread can diagnose a cause to this problem.
Hi Guys,
@ stvwlf:
I’m using the Headspace2 plugin, and like the All in One SEO Pack it provides you the option to define a page title, description, keywords tag for the home page…but it does not provide an option to define page titles for your inner index pages or make a TRULY unique home page title and description/keywords tag. That sounds like a possibility, i could perhaps define the home page title, description, keyword metas using Headspace2 and hopefully with your method it will override Headspace for the home page, and have Headspace take over for the inner index pages.
I’ll let you know how it works out.
Hi Dave,
Unfortunately the method you described can’t work for domain.com/page/2 and follow up pages because these pages uses the same template as the index template, and you can’t by using your method use different stylesheets for these pages.
You need to have a way to instruct WordPress to use a specific stylesheet for the homepage only, and so that this specific stylesheet is not used for page/2/ and follow up pages.
When i say page/2/ and follow up pages i don’t mean static pages that will be linked in your navigation menu, but the follow up pages when you scroll down to your index page and click next or if you have a numbered navigation click 2 to see previous posts.
