Only patience would help. Allow some time for Google to re crawl the website and show the updated links. If you force-do something, Google might blacklist the domain.
I think it usually sets it for the WordPress itself. So any other plugin that sends email will use this SMTP

Mostly a plugin conflict.
Using FTP/cPanel File Manager, navigate to /wp-content and rename ‘plugins’ directory to something else. This will disable all the plugins. Try getting into Admin after this.
If you are able to get into it, you are doing good. Enable the plugins again, but one by one and spot the one which throws error.
