Whether using the plugin or the GTM installation, the problem was the same. Although I’d rather use GTM than a plugin.
As explained above, I’ve opted for another solution but wouldn’t hesitate if I changed my mind.

Thank you very much for your feedback but I finally decided to opt for another cookie solution. It’s a shame because your solution looks really great and easy to use, but the problems caused on the site have put me off a bit.
I won’t hesitate to come back to you if the current solution doesn’t suit me and I want to reconsider my initial choice 🙂
