    The plugin now shows in:
    – HP
    – Categories pages (i.e. Design, Sci-Tech, Products, Media, etc).
    Ex: http://www.coolgreenlifestyle.com/category/green-products/

It STILL does NOT show in the individual ARTICLES pages.

Anything I can do to tweak the code on my website or should it be the plugin’s code?

    Thanks.

    Guess what?

Yesterday, a little while after I posted this, my website was offline for like 10 mins (it never happened before) and then once it got back, I logged into WP, deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and now it shows perfectly on the homepage, in the column to the right.

Problem is, it still doesn’t show on all other website pages (where it should, since it’s a widget of the right column).

So, whether it was the developer of the plugin temporarily “hacking” my page, or someone else, while I’d disapprove of such method in general, I kindly ask you to

PLEASE FIX THE PLUGIN SO THAT IT SHOWS IN EVERY PAGE, NOT JUST THE HOMEPAGE.

(the caps is just for quick issue-view, not shouting ;))

Otherwise please tell me how to do it myself (though I’m not a code wiz! you’d have to guide me step-by-step using the simplest language).

    Thank you!

    *vising = visiting (ooops!)

    Heya,

I just upgraded to “Track that Stat” Version 1.0.7 and the Media > Add New works, it hasn’t been affected (though this does not exclude that it might create problems in other parts).

As result of a lesson learned, I am keeping a log file of Plugin Updates but I was wondering if…

… there’s a physical place inside the WP Admin Dashboard where I can find this without having to write it myself?

This way, if anything happens again, it will be much faster to discover the faulty plugin, without having to uninstall-reinstall them all…

Many thanks to kmessinger or anyone else if they can reply to this.

PS: glad you solved it too, Kassinator 🙂

    Thanks kmessinger,
you are a genius and a saviour! 🙂

I went to Plugins > Installed Plugins – and de-atcivated them all with a bulk action. Based on the fact that it all happened within the last 48hrs, I tried to recall which plugin I had updated and had a few suspicions. So I reactivated them one by one and…

…discovered that the culprit is: “Track that stat” – Version 1.0.6
(kassinator, do you have that plugin too? can you check and let us know if it’s the same giving you trouble?)

I’ll try and notify the plugin author.

    Thanks a million again! cheers.

    Hi Kassinator & WP Support,

I seem to have the same problem since yesterday.Suddenly I can’t upload images.

I discovered it by doing Media > Add new – then neither the Drag & Drop area appears, nor the “Select Files” button works (Kassinator can you try this and tell me if you can?).

I then just tried doing what you did, in the New Post area> Upload Image and also there, the button does not respond to the command.

This makes me think that IT MIGHT BE A GENERAL (SUDDEN) PROBLEM WITH W?!

Please SUPPORT TEAM, fix it asap!
It is impacting (blocking!) our work!

    Many thanks!
