Hi Jackie! Thanks for the reply. I finally installed a plugin that has resolved the problem. Though I’m at a loss as to why I needed a third-party plugin to receive notifications of new comments, even though I received all other emails generated by the blog. The plugin I used is Better Notifications for WordPress.

So problem resolved.

FYI – I’m setting up the blog for my cousin and its temporary url is here (I’ll move it to the root when it’s ready): http://asojournerswalk.com/blog.
