I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue in my environment so I must assume that it could depend on the theme or some plugin that handles the menu.
Could you trying changing that line with this one and let me knw?

could you paste the entire stack trace of the error? That mentioned method is no longer used on the plugin frontend. Maybe you have a custom code?

yes in the latest version the issue was fixed. Actually no-one contacted us about this, we fixed this the issue during the regular update cycle tests so it’s included under the “Support for WooCommerce 8.7”

Furthermore, Is WooCommerce Paypal Payment the same of PayPal Standard? Because the last one is not longer available!
no, they are two different payment systems. PayPal standard is embedded in WooCommerce, WooCommerce Paypal Payment is a separate plugin
In the logs or in the order notes there’s some clue that could help us understanding what is happening?
