In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Frustrated and DesperateYou need to be a little bit patient, as Xeno010 works on this not as a full time job, but as labor of love he gives back to the wordpress community. Xeno010 found a void in quiz plugins, that he knew he improve upon. But as in all things, it takes time, to improve and refine the programs you are working on. I don’t have all the answers to your questions, but here are some things i suggest.
I hope this helps.
1) When you setup special fields, you can have commentary information before the special fields by putting the commentary information in the “Quiz Description” or “Results text” sections thats located under the custom field section.
2)
3) You might have to look inside the database tables to get email addresses of the users who took the test. Try looking at the WP_Users table for email addresses.
4) You might need to check that WordPress and the server that is running your wordpress website are setup to be able to send emails.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Never get any responsesNo response generally means no one has an answer for to your question. Perhaps you might want to send a donation to the developer. That way, he might help you with your problem

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Paid AccessAnother program that works very similar to Maven Member is WP Sentry. Both programs let you create groups, and you assign users to these groups.
Once users are assigned to the groups, you specify which groups have access to Posts or Pages.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Problem about TOEIC quizsLinking sub questions to a main question is not a feature that is currently in WP Pro Quiz.
I agree, It’s a nice feature request, that Xeno010 should consider implementing, when using multimedia question or images in a question.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Pass markYes, Go into the “Edit quiz” section. Enable the feature called “Activate graduation”. This can be found in the Results text (optional) section.
This will enable you to display a message if the test taker passed your test.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] How do I put the quiz on a word press page??You’ll have this fixed in no time. All you need to do, is be in the “Quiz overview” section In WP-Pro-Quiz. There you will see the name of the quiz you created and a “Shortcode” ( Example [WpProQuiz 1] ). Paste the [WpProQuiz 1] short code in a WordPress page or post, and it will then show up on your WordPress Site, for all users to access your test.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Personality quiz support? This is easy to do. You need to enable the “Activate Graduation” option when making a quiz. This option can be found in the “Results Text (optional)” section, with a little check box you need to enable.
The way the categories work, is based upon the score a user gets taking the test. You can define up to 15 levels (categories) based upon a percentage of the test score the user received when taking the test.
Good Luck setting up the Categories

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Time limit issueThis problem has been brought up before in this forum. I’m sure Xeno010 is aware of the issue (as he reads this forum) and will address this quirk, in a future software upgrade. Just need to be patient, until he gets around to getting this issue fixed.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] How to add questions ???Its very easy to add questions. Flow the steps below.
1. On the administrative back end screen of WordPress, click on the WP-Pro-Quiz tab, on the left side of the screen. When you do that, you will see a list of Quiz’s you have created, or can make a new quiz.
2. If you already made a Quiz, underneath the quiz name (You will have to put the mouse over the Quiz name), you will see “Questions|Edit|Delete|Preview|Statistics|Leaderboard”
3. Click on Questions. At the bottom of the next screen that comes up, click the “Add question” button.
4. After you click the “Add question” button, there will be a series of choices and prompts for you to choose the type of quiz question (single choice, multiple choize, Cloze type, ect) Just fill out the information and then save the question you answer into WP Pro Quiz.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Paid AccessIt can be done, but you will have to use another plug in conjunction with WP Pro Quiz. I use a plug in called Maven Member to accomplish this. Maven Member lets you setup rights, to what pages or posts people can access.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Is this supported? The plug in author Xeno010, is very active in supporting his plug in. He is always helping people trouble shoot WordPress sites issues and problems people are having with the plug in. Though he can’t be here to answer every question or respond to every request, He reads the issues people have, and makes improvements to WP Pro Quiz.
I can testify to this, because he has taken some of my requests, and incorporated it into WP Pro Quiz.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Xeno, any update on Version 0.25?I think Xeno010 has done a awesome job on all the features he has added to wp pro quiz. I know I look forward to seeing the program enhancement when you can look back and see each individual user answers for all the questions on a test. This is an important feature to have. If a test taker argues over a test question, you can view his answer and then explain why his answer is not correct.
Feature 1.5, I would also like to suggest having the ability to view a running average score of all the test taken. 🙂
Feature #2 that I hope Xeno010 will add, is the ability to change button text, button color, and test text colors for wp pro quiz. This will make life easier for users who want customize wp pro quiz, with the theme they are using, so that the test colors blend in well with the the site theme. Its not that I need this feature, but many times users ask how to change button text, or colors to match their website theme.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] php errorAre you using the latest version of PHP, Java, and WordPress? Have you tried using a different theme ?
Please verify you are current on these other applications and try a basic theme to see if that helps.
