Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Unable to upload .docx file with plugins disabledI just tried it on a WordPress installation with a default theme and no plugins running. The .docx file that I was using initially was saved from a Google Document, and that gives me the error. But when I tried it from a Word document downloaded from Microsoft it works fine.

In reply to: Unable to upload .docx file with plugins disabledAccording to this .docx files are allowed.
Thank you.
I submitted it.
The Getwid people got back to me saying they are aware of the conflict but haven’t had a chance to resolve it.
Thanks but that didn’t work.
The second constant you posted is identical to the first one.
That’s the same thing as your first reply.
It seems to only be happening when using their Custom Post Type block.
So to replicate the issue:
- Install Getwid plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/getwid/ and Nextgen.
- Insert one of their Custom Post Type blocks.
- Try to update the page.
Thanks for your assistance. I’ve heard nothing from Getwid so far.
The error only happens when the Custom Post Type block is being used.

In reply to: [WP Responsive Recent Post Slider/Carousel] Broken ARIA referenceOK thanks for your help on this.
Thanks for getting back to me, but that didn’t help.
To be clear, sometimes the error says “Updating failed. Unexpected token ‘<‘, ” <div class”… is not valid JSON” and sometimes it says “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”
Thanks for your assistance.
Great, thanks for looking into this.
