This issue is resolved.
@photocrati the Gantry plugin is still at version 4.1.1 and was released in January. The update (2.0.59) of your plugin was after this release. How can this problem reappear?

Sorry for the late response.
The problem was the caching function of the template that I am using. I disabled the caching function and used W3 Total Cache instead. The problem is gone now and the YouTube plugin is working fine!Hello,
I have the same problem. I tried this solution, but unfortunately with no result.
In deleted 2 sitemap files in the root. That where old files from a while back when I had the Google Sitemap plugin installed.
I deactivated the NextGEN Gallery plugin. The sitemaps are working again.
When I activate the NextGEN plugin and empty the cache using W3 Total Cache the sitemaps are still working. So maybe the problem was inside the cache?
