    David,
    Well, unknowingly what I have done to make it possible that now UpdraftPlus now seems to find the “/rescuemymarriage.net/wp-content/uploads”…..I wish I knew what I did that seems to have fixed it, but I have been updating, adding, removing and tweaking so many plugins and such past few days that I have no way to know what I did, assuming I did something.

    I do appreciate your help and effort to assist me. And I appreciate your guidance mode to help me understand what code is attempting to do.
    I kind of thought that was what it was trying to do and I looked at my directory tree on the host server and it seemed to be where it should have been to be found…so I did not know what else to do to resolve issue.

    I see that you have indicated 2 other possible resolutions, and unfortunately, I don’t understand how to act on either of them, so I’m glad I did not have to do so since it seems to be working now.

    However, I did attempt to review solution #3 concerning the “options” table just to see if I could have taken action on it with my very limited programming knowledge. I have made a few edits to tables in the past, but with much much guidance from other persons or teaching tools helping me. I found the table, but I did not see or understand how one would impact something you called the “upload_path”. Don’t bother writing back about it….just thought I would share, so that you knew your effort was appreciated in my clumsy effort to use it.

    Anyway, it is not doing the error message any longer and it is sending me the email status reports, and it seems to be backing up the “uploads” files now, so I’m gonna stop tinkering with it and let the baby run. 🙂

    I changed it to “public”.

    Search this subject line: “Error message using WP plugin UPdraftPlus Backup”

    BTW, I did get the email notice for a backup today, so I thought you may had fixed something. Apparently, you have not, so I’m gonna do a manual backup and see what happens today. I will let you know here what happens.

    BTW, I tried manual backup again today and got same error message and also I did NOT receive the status report email.
