Ok. After digging some more I was able to find this comment deep in a thread and it resolved my issue by adding one line of code. Who would of thought? What a headache.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have actually attempted both of those items and neither have resolved the issue. Thinking it might be an issue with the database but since I’m rather limited in my knowledge of MySQL I’m having to do some reading.
Yeah, 2.6.5 was running great. I can’t seem to figure out what’s up with it. If I rename the wp-config.php file the default page requesting the site be configured pops up immediately so it’s not Apache that I can imagine.
I’m up in Kennesaw myself. It’s in the 60s and rainy. I’d give anything for more than one day of sunshine.
