I use All In One WP Security, not iThemes, and don’t see a similar option enabled in my settings.
This is still an issue. I run the latest version of MailPoet, and even after I manually confirm a subscriber, it is not sending any emails.
However, the main issue is that starting recently users can’t confirm their subscription because the confirmation link leads to a 403 Permission Denied page.
