    Hello Esmi,

OK, I did as you requested, changed to the twenty thirteen theme and deactivated all the plugins, but the problem still persisted. Recently I changed back to the twenty twelve theme and have trashed that page and that menu disappeared, but when I was republishing the same page that same menu came up, now with a new number.

Is it not possible to get rid of this in the editor somewhere?

    Waiting for your answer,

    Hello Esmi,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I could. But I had a quick look using the preview function in the twenty thirteen theme and it showed the same two menus (in drop down fashion) as in twenty twelve.

Is it perhaps possible to go back to version 3.5?

Thanks for your help. Apology for the late response. I had to find some explanations how to use style sheets. But I do get it now and implemented it successfully. I have one more question though. Probably this is asked a lot, but here we go: On my “About” page at the top below the music sheet pic my Firefox browser displays the words: “This blog will offer:” correctly. However when I check it on IE it displays it to close to the pic (no space between the pic and the sentence) How can I resolve this so that the space will be the same on both browsers?

Thanks again in advance for your help,

Thanks Simon for your response. OK I have to be more specific then.

    1. Look again at my website http://www.musicarrangerspage.com at the
gallery 1 menu. You will see the first pic at the top it has a description: “My Fusion Band in Bangkok, Thailand” In my text editor
this sentence appears beneath the pic. as I wanted it. But on my site
it appears on the right side. Why isn’t this the same and how do I get it under the pic.
    2. Look at the last pic all the way down to the right. In my Firefox browser it says correctly:”In Kanton City with my Chinese Tai-Chi teacher from Holland”. However when I open “Internet Explorer”, the words of the sentences are juggled up and not aligned anymore. (I presume you have both browswers to compare)

I have a bit of html knowledge, actually I’m currently studying it.

Hope to hear from you soon,

    2DMonkey,

Thanks for your help. I still seem to have some problems. For now
I just keep it the same as before and I’ll change it later on when I have
a bit more knowledge of ftp.

    Thanks,
    Whitelight

    Hi 2DMonkey,

Thanks for your reply. OK, I’ve got the upper side bar removed successfully. Then you advice me with:”create a new file in your template directory called ‘comments_home.php’.”
I’m sorry but I’m new in this field. How do you make a new file in you template directory?

    Awaiting your answer,

    Hi 2DMonkey,

Thanks a lot for your help. It did work. But I would like to take out the 2 HTML tags and attribute lines between the comments box and the post comments press button. Also at the left side of the comment box
I would like to take out the word comments and shift the box all the way to the left.

Note: <?php the_content(); ?> In my index php it looks like this:
    <?php the_content(‘Read more »’); ?>

I’ve 1 more q: At the top of the side bars on the left is this box: “RSS Subscribe Entries RSS | Comments RSS”. Since I already have the other 2 side bars for RSS and Email subscription, I’d like to take this one out too. At the widgets tab it doesn’t appear over there. Probably a part of the template itself.
    My site again: http://www.musicarrangerspage.com

    I hope I don’t ask to much,

Thanks for your help in advance,

    Hi threestyler,

Thanks for your response. I’m a newbie in the world of .php.
Where can I locate the index php? Somewhere in the adnim area?
Or do I have to go the cpanel of hostgator (my host)?
Do you think I should buy a book about html and php to have a
better understanding? Or is there knowledge base in this forum?

Thanks for your help in advance,
    Hans

    Hi wordpress team,

    Sorry, here’s the link http://www.musicarrangerspage.com
Look at the top right corner in the sidebar and you’ll see the widget: subscribe, entries rss, comments rss. I would like to get rid of this widget, but
it doesn’t appear in the appearance/widgets tap.

    Awaiting your answer,
