In reply to: How do I move my domain name to WordPress?Good question. Right now, we are paying money to our “host” and really not using the full extent of the website. We are not moving to a host, but just keeping the domain name to be used later. We really only post pictures and blog posts which we can do on WordPress, right? For instance, right now on my blog, I can not upload pictures into a post. I’ve been through all their support and nothing is working. If I move my blog to wordpress.com, is that an option? Also, when there are upgrades like 2.0.7, 2.1, etc, do the blogs on wordpress.com also upgrade?

In reply to: How do I move my domain name to WordPress? Thanks for the help. I’ll go check out “Domain Mapping” and see how to do that. Trying to get this done soon because my renewal is at the end of the month.

In reply to: How do I move my domain name to WordPress?Sorry, my web vocab is not the best. I have a website http://www.willandbeth.com through StartLogic. When I signed up with them, they gave me the option to have a blog which was through WordPress (willandbeth.com/wordpress). Now that it is expiring, I really dont want to renew it, but I don’t want to lose my blog either. I was reading about setting up a WordPress blog “hosted” by wordpress.com. As I was reading through the paid upgrades, I read here, http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/10/24/domain-mapping-registration/ where I can pay $10 a month to have it mapped.
I guess my question is how does this work? And if I open a wordpress blog through wordpress.com, can I keep all my posts?
