Am I replacing the orignals with the new?

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
– re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.
BTW-THANK YOU! I do not know if you get paid to do this or not. But I really do appreciate it! You have no idea!

An account that has FTP costs $215 for 2 yrs, verses the basic we have at $120 for 2 years. It is for a ministry…trying to keep overhead costs down to a minimum.

I cannot login to my wordpress page & I keep getting errors as I try to tweak things to make the code work. I am more than willing to completely start over, without losing all of my “stuff” on my site. Can someone help me? I have tried to upgrade manually – but the only way I can do this is if I upload one file at a time. I use netfirms as my host. I have tried using FileZilla…but I do not know my “host name” to login. I am so beyond upset! I have spent a whole day working on this. WASTED a whole day working on this. http://www.whami.org
