You can´t link to the files with a direct link, you use this code instead:
[mv_dl_links ids=”11,23,67″]
(This link is for multiple files, take the “id” for the file you have in the upload.)
One single file:
Example “Download this pdf: [mv_dl_links ids=”11”] “
Even when I use the code you have provided, when I click it to download the file, a file downloads with the name of the file as <file id>.htm
Then I’m logged out, and the htm file I downloaded contains the contents of the login page.
When I put the mv_dl code into the page, it pulls the file name and everything.
I have the same issue, doesn’t seem to be working with me either. Hopefully Max can shed some light on this situation.
