I have also reactivated the Apple Pay / Google Pay Express Checkout option, but only temporarily for testing purposes. Please check it as soon as possible, because I will need to disable it again shortly to avoid orders being placed without a billing phone number.
Regarding when we first noticed the issue: we noticed it when orders placed via Apple Pay / Google Pay started coming through without the billing phone number. Normal checkout orders include the phone number correctly.
